Every year we donate a handful of bags to worthy causes... some simply because we strongly believe in the cause and some hit much closer to home.
All worthy causes, but the Tree House Humane Society and PAWS Chicago hold a special place in Brynn's heart, as her beloved cat Cher passed away from mammary cancer in 2008. Every October when America is reminded of the fight against Breast Cancer in Woman, most pet owners are unaware how this disease affects their pets. It's the 3rd most common cancer in female cats (spaying before 6 months leads to to a 91% reduction in the risk) and one in four unspayed female dogs are affected. Now determined to make others aware, Brynn is trying to make a small difference by awareness and donations.
If you would like to request a donation for your charity, please contact our team at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we cannot guarantee a donation as we receive many requests. We do try to donate to as many charities as possible.
Better Connecticut covers fundraising event via United Way called "Power of the Purse" with a mention about Brynn and showcasing our Lauren Gulf of Genoa donation.
