Care Instructions
Brynn Capella Handbags and Accessories are made using fine 100% cotton decorator fabrics, exclusive silk brocades, imported fabrics from France and fine leather. Some 100% cotton bags can be spot cleaned, but most decorator and silk fabrics should be dry cleaned by a quality dry cleaning service.
Besides treating them with care, here are some helping tips to help them remain as beautiful as when you receive them:
Maintenance
We strongly recommend spraying fabrics (except silk brocades) with a protective spray (i.e. Scotchguard) to keep your bag looking clean and new. You can use a universal-use spray for fabrics, suede and leather (found at most shoe or department stores).
Spot Cleaning
Inside linings: Use mild soap and water on a clean cloth and wipe clean.
Outside fabrics: Blot stains with cold water using a clean cloth or non-abrasive towel, do not rub. Soak up excess liquid to help limit spots left after it dries. Most fabrics are upholstery weight and may be spot treated with mild soap and water. It is best to always use cold water; hot water can cause fading and/or shrinkage. Many stain removers and spot treatment products work well with our fabrics; some products we have had good results with are Tide-to-go and Oxiclean. You might want to test a small area of the fabric in an inconspicuous place to insure a good outcome. Please follow the directions of the product you choose. After cleaning allow handbag to air dry.
Overall Cleaning
Machine washing is not recommended. If in question, please have them cleaned professionally. Many dry cleaners will be able to handle overall cleaning.
Sorry, but we cannot be responsible for damage to merchandise due to overuse, machine washing or improper dry cleaning.
